LtCol Ken Pipes, USMC (ret) We normally post items on this page that are upbeat about what’s happening with BRAVO or reflective of the history surrounding the Siege of Khe Sanh. But today, we have the very unhappy task of passing along the news that BRAVO!’s Skipper, Lt. Colonel Ken Pipes, USMC Retired, has gone on to Fiddler’s Green to join so many of his beloved Marines and Corpsmen with whom he served at Khe Sanh. Ken Pipes was compassionate and passionate, intimately intuitive, intelligent and a true leader of men. I think those of us who are left behind to grieve his leaving, if he asked, would follow him into the breach, into the maw of death once again. Semper Fidelis, Skipper
