Captain John S. McCain, US Navy (retired) lost his battle with cancer this past Saturday. We’ll focus on his time as a Navy pilot and Vietnam War POW today, and we’ll hear him in his own words, which is always the best way to remember a person who did a lot of living, and Captain McCain did exactly that. From Annapolis to the USS Forestall and the USS Orinsky to the skies over Hanoi, the “Hanoi Hilton” and then back home, Captain McCain led an incredible life and we’ll celebrate it today.
