LtCol Colby Vokey, USMC (ret) was the Marine Corps Regional Defense Counsel for the West Coast in the spring of 2006 when the civilian killings occurred in the Iraqi cities of Haditha & Hamdania. He was responsible for providing defense counsels for each defendant and was personally part of SSgt Frank Wuterich’s legal defense team.
