Colonel John Ripley is an icon of the United States Marine Corps and his exploits at the Dong Ha Bridge in 1972 are the stuff of legends.  LtCol Ed Nevgloski, USMC (ret) is a family friend and currently the Edwin N. McClellan History Research Fellow at the Marine Corps History Division, Ed joined ALL MARINE RADIO to discuss Col Ripley’s career and the specifics of his action as an advisor to the South Vietnamese Marine Corps at the Dong Ha Bridge during the “Easter Offensive” of 1972.
