To say that it’s “disappointing” to see what substituted as “leadership” at the FBI is an understatement. James Comey’s conduct as the Director of the FBI is nothing short of disgusting, and might in fact be criminal, we shall see in time. In any case, the former Director of the FBI was not suited to sit in the top seat at the FBI, as seat that requires strength and the abititly to say “yes” or “no” to politicians and political appointees as they prosecute their own agendas. Clearly, he was not up to the task.
Backing Comey up was his assistant, Andrew McCabe, who may possibly be indicted for perjury in Federal District Court soon. Other than the “J. Edgar Hoover Files,” I cannot think of a lower point in the history of the FBI.
