Nick Francona was a 1stLt, Ground Intelligence Officer in charge of 3rd Battalion, 4th Marines Scout Sniper Platoon during their deployment to the lower Sangin region of the Helmand Valley in Afghanistan in 2011. We’ll get to know how Nick, how comes from a family with deep roots in Major League Baseball, joined the Marine Corps and get his thoughts on leadership as well as discuss some baseball.
