Gunner Tim Gelinas, USMC (ret) joined ALL MARINE RADIO to discuss his time in Vietnam at a PFC assigned initially to 1st Battalion 9th Marines, and later to 1st Battalion, 26th Marines where he fought at Con Thien and Khe Sanh. Unlike all of our previous Battlefield Studies, Gunner Gelinas was not in a leadership position — he was a junior Marine and his perspective and observations are unique and riveting.
