John Gerlaugh was a Tank Officer in the Marine Corps who left to pursue opportunities in the DOD. When the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq started he cross-decked to the Department of State from the DOD to support development efforts in Iraq in 2007 and Afghanistan 2010-2011 where we crossed paths. John joined ALL MARINE RADIO to discuss his career, his work in both Iraq and Afghanistan, the future of Afghanistan and the work he’s doing to power rural villages in Afghanistan through a non-profit corporation John started called Team Afghan Power.
John has a ton of experience and his insights are those of a serious professional who “been there and done that” — great stuff!
