TODAY’S TOPICS:
- The Taliban have beefed up their negotiating team for the upcoming talks with the Afghan National Government — What does that mean?
- The Washington Post published a story last week about a guy who “trolls” — he began with saying people who were killed in the attacks on September 11, 2001 deserved it and it has gone from there. Further evidence to “unplug” from the garbage on social media and the garbage presented in the nightly news.
- Sgt Jack Riley, USMC is a Vietnam Veteran… he was a squad leader in India Company, 3rd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment that served in the northern part of South Vietnam (known as “I Corps” for those that know) and fought the North Vietnamese Army. I’ve interviewed Jack three or four times and I still learn things from those interview that I wasn’t smart enough to understand when we did them… he’s a huge mentor of mine.
