After one of the bitterest weeks of rhetorics that I can remember in American politics, I looked for something to watch Sunday morning and found myself missing Tim Russert, the former host of NBC’s “Meet The Press.” Russert was a professional broadcaster and had a gift for articulate discourse and discussion — we could sorely use his gifts now. I left the TV off.
