I speak to veterans constantly about mental health.  

I hear the same story all the time:

  • They prescribed medications very quickly
  • They recommended I go to group therapy
  • The therapist I saw took notes, but didn’t recommend anything concrete for my life.  And then I saw a different therapist
  • I stopped taking the drugs, I hated feeling like a “zombie”
  • I stopped going to therapy after I saw another new therapist

What do they think they’re doing?
