New Zealand was the home of the 1st Marine Division during parts of World War II, the Division’s song “Waltzing Matilda” embraces that period of time when the Division lived in New Zealand and Australia. Like all Americans our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of New Zealand as they deal with this idiotic act.
