I met Don Shields when I lived in Grand Forks ND, first as a guest on my radio show and years later as a member of the City Council. Don retired from the US Air Force and joined ALL MARINE RADIO to explain and discuss issues that we read and hear about on a daily basis:
- Public Health funding — always funding below what is required. Will this Covid-19 pandemic change this or will we return to “business as usual” in the future?
- Grading the efforts of citizens, Federal efforts and State efforts
- What will have to happen relative to “testing” and “treatments” for the first stages of us emerging from our current “shelter in place” state to happen?
Don is a great professional who has always made me smarter about the complex issues that surround public health… problems that often carry large price tags.
