The New York Times holds itself out as “the nation’s paper of record” — this past week the Publisher of that paper failed to confront forces inside of its business who oppose free speech.  In particular, the publisher — A.G. Sulzberger — shrank from his duty to defend free speech and inclusion on his opinion pages — revealing to all that his cowardly character. We’ll talk about it.

As I watch and listen to the rhetoric that surrounds the nation’s discussion on policing and race the thought occurred to me — what would Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. say about the tone of this discussion?  There doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of discussion about the “content of their character” in anything I’ve watched or listen to… — we’ll talk about it.
