Nick Warr is an exception Marine.  He fought in the Vietnam in 1968 including the Battle for Hue City.  He has been an active member of the 1/5 alumni network, his has written extensively about his experience in Vietnam and has been part of the group that has raised money to fund the “5th Marines Vietnam Memorial” that will be dedicated at Camp San Mateo (home of the 5th Marines at Camp Pendleton), in the Memorial Garden there.

In Part 2 we discuss My Lai, the Burns/Novick PBS documentary “The Vietnam War” and the work Nick has done with a group of 5th Marine Vietnam veterans to build a memorial to the Marines and Sailors who fell in Vietnam as part of the 5th Marine Regiment, which will be dedicated this Memorial Day weekend.
