John Schrey enlisted in the Marine Corps at the age of 25 and went to Afghanistan twice as a combat engineer. When he got out of the, like many, he drifted into a life of numbing himself with alcohol and drugs. John now transforms the lives of others at the Mending Fences Mental Health & Substance Abuse Treatment Center in Ocala, Florida. His story is amazing — a normal, down to earth guy, who has both struggle and triumphed… John is a GREAT example of how we flawed humans can transcend life’s difficulties. #awesome
